Healthzilla Helping Organizations to Improve Their Results in Health & Wellness - Introducing TriathlonSuomi

The last quarter of 2020 has seen the Finnish-Singaporean health tech startup Healthzilla kick off several pilot projects with customers representing different aspects of the health & wellness sector. The ambitious purple monster team whose mission is to help people transform their health & wellness data into healthy habits has worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to be able to provide intelligent wellness solutions to companies and wellness providers alike.

With the festive season approaching fast and most companies winding down towards Christmas, Healthzilla kicks into a higher gear instead and proudly announces their latest pilot project with TriathlonSuomi. TriathlonSuomi society consists of 300 members and 30 trainers who offer guidance and support to their continuously growing community of triathletes. The community offers training, practice groups, and good feelings to their members who range from experienced triathletes all the way to beginners interested in the sport and wanting to increase their skill set.

Since the beginning of the project, Healthzilla has been collaborating closely with TriathlonSuomi co-founder Tatu Koistinen. His insights from the health & fitness industry along with his vast experience from coaching athletes training and competing at different levels have been a major asset in the successful design and execution of the pilot.

“The pilot project with Healthzilla has proven that it’s possible to provide our athletes with a cost-efficient yet high-quality daily recovery measurement to help them train efficiently”, says Tatu Koistinen, co-founder of TriathlonSuomi

“The most important factor in an endurance athlete’s progress and development is managing the delicate balance between training load and recovery,” explains Tatu. “At TriathlonSuomi, we focus on scientifically-backed training. Thus far, the means for monitoring the recovery of the athletes both on an individual level and group level have been limited,” he continues. “The pilot project with Healthzilla has proven that it’s possible to provide our athletes with a cost-efficient yet high-quality daily recovery measurement to help them train efficiently. The collaboration from Healthzilla’s side has been exemplary,” Tatu concludes.

The project has been a delight for Healthzilla too, both in terms of results, collaboration, and learnings from TriathlonSuomi’s expertise and experience. “We’re thrilled to see our technology deployed to explore the optimal balance between training load and recovery,” beams Laura Ranin, CEO of Healthzilla. “In the world of expensive wearables and special gadgets for capturing biometric data, daily recovery monitoring and intelligent insights have been the luxury of few. Our cost-efficient technology allows for true scalability and we hope to see many forward-thinking organizations and companies to follow in the footsteps of TriathlonSuomi and adopt new data-driven technologies for improved wellbeing and better performance,” she summarizes.

Healthzilla is prepared to kick off with a new batch of pilot projects in January 2021. If you feel like your organization needs a boost to start the year with healthier habits and better recovery, make sure to contact Laura at laura@healthzilla.ai.
